Alexander Nevski Cathedral
Sofia, Bulgaria
"This is the largest church in Sofia, built as a tribute to those who fought for Bulgarian
independence from the Ottoman empire in the 1870s.
"Bulgarians apparently take this very seriously, so phooning inside is probably not a good
idea. Also, photography is not allowed inside, and the light in there is really lousy
anyhow. (Not that the police patroling the parking lot outside seemed overly happy about
my phooning in the traffic either.)" --Gran
Thanks to Gran for phooning (and for the photo idea).
