Geyser

Calistoga, California

"This is one of only a few geysers in the world that erupts predictably. The desk clerk
explained that the typical eruption interval was 40 minutes, but due to excess rain prior
to my visit the current eruption interval was only 5-10 minutes, which made for an
excellent phooning opportunity. The silence in between eruptions was filled by the chatter
of nearby four-horned sheep." --Fred

Thanks to Fred for phooning (and for the photo idea).
