Rideau Canal ice skating

"In Winter, this canal becomes the largest skating rink in the world. It is a wonderful
experience to skate along almost 7 km of canal and visit Canada's Capital City and the
various booths that are set up on the ice itself. No skating outing would be complete on
the canal without having a beaver tail as a snack (no it's not a real beaver tail). Note
that it is very difficult to do a good Phoon on skates while not moving forward!" --Einar
