Civil infrastructure recon

Mosul, Iraq

"This is my Team on a cold, rainy morning at the range in FOB Marez. We had been
practicing close-quarters combat and reflexive-fire techniques. We are all from an Army
Reserve unit in Northern California. My Team has a pretty diverse civilian background: a
Civil Engineer, a CFO (U. Penn grad), a Dept of Energy Security Officer, and a college
student. We perform civil infrastructure recon missions in and around Mosul." --John
