Hanalei Valley

Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii

"Several tourists waited for Bob to 'get through' with his crazy pose and then asked us
about the view (the most photographed view in Kauai). It's the valley where the Hawaiians
grow taro, the roots from which they make poi, a starchy staple like potatoes.

"In the distance is Mount Waialeale, the 'wettest place on earth.' It gets an average of
451 inches of rain a year." --Doris

Thanks to Bob for phooning and to Doris for the photo idea.
