Light rail

Portland, Oregon

We decided to take the light rail, for the first time, from the airport to the city of our
relatives. At one point, the light rail was fairly full. Some garbled message came over
the speakers and everyone, except three of us, bolted off of the stopped train to hop onto
an adjacent train. The three of us looked at each other. "What was that all about?" The
"regulars" had been able to figure out that this train was about to head back the other
direction and they needed to be on the other one. Fortunately, we got the message in time.

Thanks to Doris for phooning. Photo idea: mine.
