Gate of Harmonious Interest

"This is the gate into Chinatown in Victoria, British Columbia. On each side of the outer
red pillars is a buried time capsule. One is to be opened in 2081 and the other in 2096.
The stone lions were donated by Victoria's sister city of Suzhou in the People's Republic
of China. On the outer right pillar is a plaque with the names of 61 Chinese Canadians who
died fighting for Canada in the Second World War. That's a lot of history on one little
