July 2009: WOW! What a find. Mom was digging through old photo albums and found a Phoon
photo of mine from 1983 that I didn't know about. This would be the last Phoon of mine,
then, before I revived phooning in 1999. And look at that! That would be Dad's first
Phoon. I didn't know he'd attempted it back then. Hey, the little kid is future (adult)
phooner Aaron.
Trivia: President Clinton would fly the huge Airforce One to this airfield when visiting
his daughter Chelsea at nearby Stanford University. The powers that be would shut down the
major freeway adjacent to this airstrip, all part of their security thing.
